St. Vincent de Paul Partnering with Tri-State Chevrolet Dealers in Year-End Initiative Tri State Chevy Dealers Joining Forces with St. Vincent de Paul to Relieve Hunger in the Greater Cincinnati Area Cincinnati - The Tri State Chevy Dealers have signed on to support the programs and initiatives of St. Vincent de Paul-Cincinnati during the holiday season by hosting food drives at each dealership during the holiday season. “The Tri State Chevy Dealers are excited to take part in St. Vincent de Paul’s efforts to serve local families in need across Greater Cincinnati” said Ron Joseph, member of the Tri State Chevy Dealers Association. More than 12.6 percent of those in the Greater Cincinnati area live below the poverty level, a sobering statistic that doesn’t begin to show the plight of families who have fallen on hard times. St. Vincent de Paul serves neighborhoods across Cincinnati with a network of outreach centers and neighborhood based volunteer groups. As a result, the food donated is quickly distributed in the neighborhoods around each Chevy dealership. Additional donations will be distributed through the Carl and Edyth Lindner Choice Pantry, which is part of St. Vincent de Paul’s Outreach Center in the West End. “This year, we are seeing many families requesting assistance for the very first time. The need truly has never been greater - as rainy day funds are simply running out,” said Liz Carter, executive director of St. Vincent de Paul-Cincinnati. “This partnership with our friends at Chevrolet is going to make such a difference this year.”
